The Liberal Media Pushes Back

You know you are in for some interesting reading when you open your browser and look at the days news. Yesterday when I was preparing a couple of posts for this blog, I watched this dust up over President Trump and Rep. John Lewis.

If you don't know, and I surely didn't this politician John Lewis is often identified as a Civil Rights icon.

Washington (CNN)Civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis says he doesn't see President-elect Donald Trump as a "legitimate" commander in chief following Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
"I don't see this President-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis, a Georgia Democrat, told NBC News' Chuck Todd in a clip released Friday. "I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected. And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton."

Lewis -- an ally of Martin Luther King Jr. who was brutally beaten by police in Selma, Alabama, in 1965 while marching for civil rights -- also said he planned to skip Trump's inauguration next week, which he said would be the first ceremony he would not attend since coming to Washington. He was elected to Congress in 1986.

I guess that means that he can say whatever he wants and if ANYONE rebuts him, that's just racist, because he's a Civil Rights icon...make sense? Not to me.

So this guy goes on NBC, and as the process goes, liberals are treated warmly, while conservatives are treated coldly. Yawn, right. So, Chuck Todd brings his usual venom against anything Trump...and Rep John Lewis says that He doesn't see President Trump as legitimate. That somehow, the Russians are in cahoots with Trump and Hillary was screwed out of a presidential victory.

Typically President Trump saw the interview and shot back on Twitter.

Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to.....
mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk - no action or results. Sad!

Well now, it seems that there is a unwritten law in Washington DC. There are topics and people that are ABOVE reproach.

Any talk against abortion or its providers, any talk against the homosexual lobby or its variations, any talk against "the black caucus" power system or its members. This is especially true since Obama, where everything is viewed through a race filter.

Any violation of this unwritten law is grounds for a full blown First Amendment exemption. Liberals only like the 1st when it works for them, but talk against their 'god' and they explode.

Time to change it up...
