Lucy...You have Some 'Splaining To Do

Where do I begin today?

Snowflake women and their pussy hats?

Trumps first stop....the CIA?

The face that turned the stomachs of millions....no more!

or, I know, how about Mexico sending illegal Cubans back to Cuba,....whaaa? Ok, so I'll talk about this 'small story'  and deal with the others later.

Mexico deports 91 Cubans after U.S. ends 'wet foot, dry foot'

Mexico's government has deported 91 Cubans about a week after the United States ended a so-called "wet foot, dry foot" policy that granted residency to almost every Cuban who reached U.S. soil, Mexican officials said on Friday.

The repeal of the longstanding policy last Thursday by former U.S. President Barack Obama left hundreds of Cubans who were seeking a new life stranded in Mexico and Central America countries.
The 71 men and 20 women were flown to the Caribbean island by Mexican federal police jet from the southern city of Tapachula, Mexico's National Migration Institute said.

The Cubans were in Mexico "irregularly," the institute said in a statement, though they had applied for a permit to remain temporarily in the country.

Wet Foot Dry Foot? What does that mean?

From Wikipedia... Wet feet, dry feet policy

Cuba is 90 miles (145 kilometers) south of Florida

The wet feet, dry feet policy or wet foot, dry foot policy is the name given to a consequence of the 1995 revision of the application of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 that essentially says that anyone who fled Cuba and entered the United States would be allowed to pursue residency a year later.

Prior to 1995, the US government allowed all Cubans who reached US territorial waters to remain in the US. After talks with the Cuban government, the Clinton administration came to an agreement with Cuba that it would stop admitting people intercepted in U.S. waters. Since then, in what has become known as the "Wet foot, Dry foot" policy, a Cuban caught on the waters between the two nations (with "wet feet") would summarily be sent home or to a third country.

One who makes it to shore ("dry feet") gets a chance to remain in the United States, and later would qualify for expedited "legal permanent resident" status in accordance with the 1966 Act and eventually U.S. citizenship. In January 2017, the Obama administration announced the immediate end of the policy.[1]

Ok so lets dig in a bit because this doesn't make much sense. Ok so if you are from Cuba and you make it to the US, after a bit you're home free. Great for Major League Baseball....but?

Then I found this;

Cuban-Americans Voted for Trump at Higher Rate than 'White' Americans

While “White” American voters supported Trump at a rate of 56%, Cuban American voters went for the Republican candidate at a rate of 58%--or perhaps even higher.

Gosh? What could possibly account for such deplorable behavior?

Well, if the quip “you had to be there” applies anywhere, it’s in explaining the voting habits of Americans of Cuban heritage. By “there” I mean in a communist country—but not as a tourist!  Not like the tens of thousands of (mostly pinko) Americans who’ve been visiting Cuba and filling the coffers of Cuba’s terror-sponsoring Stalinist rulers the past few years, thanks to Obama.

No, instead I mean as a subject of a communist nation’s rulers. Voting Republican then becomes a reflex, an instinct—and one that drives liberals absolutely apoplectic.

Let’s take a perfectly representative liberal Democrat: Michael Moore. And if you think Moore is not representative of today’s Democrat party, recall that at their Convention in 2004 a smirking Michael Moore was feted by the Democrat party as their honored guest. He sat in a place of honor right next to Jimmy Carter. Remember?

“Cuban-Americans,” wrote this honored guest of the Democrat party in his book “Downsize This,” “are responsible for sleaze and influence-peddling in American politics. In every incident of national torment that has deflated our country for the past three decades, Cuban exiles are always present and involved.”

Can you imagine the media uproar if a prominent Trump-supporting celebrity—say Jon Voight or Ted Nugent-- denounced Mexican-Americans en masse for “tormenting our country with sleaze?” We’d never hear the end of it.

One final quote from the article

"Bottom line: given all the above factors, when it comes to “deplorable” behavior and causing liberal heads to explode, Cuban-Americans have long been –to quote Freddie Mercury—“The Champion Deplorables of the World!”  "

Make sense now? We encourage Mexican and other Latin's to illegally enter, why? They vote Demoncratic...but kick the Cubans out, because they vote conservative/Republican.
