They Miss The Point

The recent "hot button" is that the recent election victory was swayed by the Russians due to hacking of the DNC emails by said Russians.

The usual actors have stood up and spouted off their positions. By usual actors, I mean Sen. John McCain. "The Facts are there." Then there is Sen. Chuck Schumer. “Senate Democrats will join with our Republican colleagues next year to demand a congressional investigation and hearings to get to the bottom of this,” Schumer said. “It’s imperative that our intelligence community turns over any relevant information so that Congress can conduct a full investigation."

I'll let you go with these two clowns.

The point they all miss, and I mean THEY ALL miss, is simply this; Did the leaked emails, shed any light on the truth of the DNC? In other words, are the emails true? Or are the emails a total fabrication? If the hack is just that, a 'common' hack...or was the hack intended to flood the world with false information?

OK so lets look at it from another angle.

Is the world flat? We have unnamed sources that say the world is flat. Our intelligence services say they believe that unnamed sources say that the world is flat.

Understand now?

This isn't about Donald Trump. This is about the Democrats perceived legitimacy of the their loss. Again, its the continued whine of loss. The Democrats just don't get it, they refuse to get it. They lost because they had a rotten to the core candidate. The contest was between two people, no participation trophies are handed out. You have a winner and loser.

Time to move on.

More US Troops For Syria?

In April 2016, Obama announced an increase to 300 Special Ops troops to Syria.
Obama emphasized that the new troops are “not going to be leading the fight on the ground” but that they would work with local forces.

'The expanded U.S. military presence in Syria is aimed in part at helping to expand the ranks of Arab fighters in a network of groups, now dominated by Kurdish fighters, that the United States is backing as it battles the Islamic State. The additional U.S. forces work with Kurdish militiamen and others as they seek to isolate Raqqa, the Islamic State’s de facto capital in Syria.'

That was April 2016.  Two days ago, December 12, this was quietly announced.

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter said, "The US is sending 200 more military personnel to help fight the Islamic State group in its Syrian stronghold of Raqqa, the US defence secretary says.

Speaking at talks on Middle East security, Ash Carter said the troops would include special forces trainers, advisers and bomb disposal teams.

They will join 300 US special forces who are already in Syria.

Last month a US-backed coalition of Kurdish and Arab fighters said it had begun an operation to capture Raqqa.

Ok, so that brings us to 500 Spec Ops troops in Syria. Notice that those troops are backing the Kurds. 

Now ask yourself, Who HATES the Kurds?

Turkey

Turkey is in Northern Syria and Iraq, because of the Kurds, They say they are there due to ISIS, but that's an out and out lie. 

 Here is where the road gets tough. Turkey is a member of NATO, and we are supporting Turkey's sworn enemy.

Here is the synopsis. About 8,000 light years away there is a star and black hole that are circling each other and in the process of being consumed. This has caught the attention of astronomers, when in the past, the Brightest Galactic Flash Ever Detected Hits Earth

This pulse, they speculate triggered the 9.0 Earthquake in the Sumatra Islands, with accompanying tsunami, which killed a quarter of a million people...remember that event?

This video will give a better explanation of the energy pulse coming than I can give.

I will say this. The previous pulse was from a star system over 80,000 light years away. This current one is from a star system 8,000 light years away.

When is it set to hit?

Remember the Sumatra earthquake was the day BEFORE the pulse hit...if that holds true, then we would be looking at a Christmas Day event.

One thing I would like to add. Since the recent elections, we conservatives have been riding a strong high wave. Our outlook is good. We all think that we have a man that can turn things around, unlike the malaise from the past eight years.

For once in recent memory we get a perverse pleasure in watching the liberal left squirm, quiver and cry over the upcoming Donald Trump Presidency.

Question...what if this point in time is just a blip, and passes before our very eyes?

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 ¹³ But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. ¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.^[b]
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. ¹⁶ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. ¹⁸ Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Now if you are a Christian and read your Bible, you know that this group of passages is about the Rapture of believers. Now if we go forward a few verses to Chapter 5, we read;

1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3

5 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. ² For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. ³ For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

When the election results were in, I felt a surge of euphoria wash over me. However it was a day or so later that the reality of it all hit. This place is not my home, my hope is not in politics or this world. Every day I post my thoughts in this blog about news articles, however, this is not keeping me awake at night. 

I know what's coming on the earth...as do you, if you  are a Christian.

If you are not a follower of Jesus Christ, the near future is going to be rough for you. 

There is only one that offers peace, that person is Jesus Christ.

Person Of The Year

The award title of Person Of The Year, must have been a gut wrenching, bile churning decision. Im sure that there were tears shed during those meetings, and the angst felt, the four letter words shouted, darts thrown at pictures and overall depression, wont heal anytime soon.

Liberals act as if they are morally superior, and intellectually from another gene pool...but they are no different than the people who got up, dusted off the sawdust from the days work, came to rally's and voted with their hearts and prayers.

Now if you think that Donald Trump has divided this nation, you are sorely mistaken. This nation is already divided, deeply, and the battle to put it back together is not on anyone's horizon. The healing can only come from the mind and wisdom of God Himself.

This past eight years have been brutal for us, when I say "us" I mean the folks who voted for Mr. Trump. The Obama administration was tedious and woefully inadequate. All of us are counting the days until January 20th. I know the workers at the Carrier air-conditioning plant are.

Confession...I started listing every thing that Obama did that harmed and hindered us over the past eight years....but stopped, and erased them.

I choose to remember, but I'll move on.

The liberals will have to do the same thing, or end up buying Maalox by the case.

If you've read any of my previous blog post, you'll notice alot of effort spent on Middle East stories. You'll notice ISIS, Russia, Syria and Iran stories. Those stories represent our failures in that theater...the Obama Administrations inability to read the signs and do the right thing.

Israels F-35 Lightning ll

I'm looking at a photo of the first two F-35's being delivered to Israel.

This photo was taken yesterday (12/07/2016)  in the Azores. Gotta admit, she's a good looking bird. Thanks to Toste from Airliners.net for the shot.

There has been alot of controversy over this plane. It's expensive, to the tune of about $110 million a copy and its performance is questionable. Are you serious?!! Israel contracted for almost 100 copies. As my Jewish friends say Oy Vey!

Now, Israel has the F-15 and the F-16, both of which they have heavily modified, but those aircraft lack one main thing...stealth. If there is one thing that Israel completely relies on, it's American hardware. Then, they modify it for their own purposes. Israel thinks outside the box, and we, the US, definitely learn from them. It will be really interesting to see how they work out the Lightning over the next year.

With Russia and Iran now operating the S300 and S400 anti aircraft  and anti missile systems, stealth is the main counter punch.

Turkey and their incursion into Syria

The Hawar news agency reported on the 7th that Turkish troops and their mercenaries were attacked by unknown aircraft, killing 7 Turkish soldiers and 8 mercenaries. That's no small number, and Russia and Syria are both denying they are responsible for the attacks.

So Turkey is now in Syria with tanks, armored carriers, soldiers and mercenaries. Reports also from Hawar say that Turkey has executed 3 people and 14 are missing a couple of days ago. You see, Turkey is more interested in killing any and all Kurds than they are with going after ISIS.

Make no mistake about it, Turkey is not our friend.

Israeli Attack News, the update is bad folks

I receive regular updates from a wonderful Israeli Messianic Jew, Amir Tsarfati . His ministry is Behold Israel, and I would highly recommend, if you are Christian, listen to this guy. Amir has regular broadcasts on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc.

He is not only Biblically grounded, but is a former Israeli IDF Major and has excellent contacts in the IDF.

So this evening (12/07/2016) He goes live on Facebook and says that the Israeli attack on the Syrian military Airbase yesterday, was not an aircraft, but a surface to surface missile, fired from the Golan. Now here is the deal, the Israeli Defense Minister said

"In the wake of the reported Israeli strike in Syria, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday Israel is making efforts to bar weapons of mass destruction from being smuggled from Syria to Hezbollah."

Did you catch his words? Weapons of mass destruction...

I've touched on this before, but I want to reiterate. God's Word the Bible is absolute. When God says something is going to happen, He's not saying it in the present tense, or even in a predictive manner...God is saying as if it has already happened.

Isaiah 43: 9-11

Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
¹⁰ Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
¹¹ Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.  

God says in Isaiah 17 that Damascus will be destroyed, totally and in one night. I think that we are seeing just HOW that scenario could come about.

It was 75 years ago today that Japan attacked the United States Navy at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Unless you've had your head in a bong or just don't have a clue, then you'll know that event drew us into World War 2. Shortly after this event, we declared war on Japan, and then Germany.

This event moved us from being a isolationist backwater nation to a nuclear superpower just a few years later.

Since then, we have continually been at war, in one form or another. The world has changed, but yet still remains the same. WE still have those who want nothing more than to control, manipulate others and when all else fails, to kill.

The body of this story makes the claim that a Canadian citizen is behind this site.

“As you are all well aware, the consequences of having Donald Trump and Mike Pence as the leaders of the free world is extremely dangerous,” the website reads. “The political, environmental and social consequences will change the United States for the worst.”

Ho hum...another frustrated liberal that cannot deal with this election. At least he is in Canada, maybe he could help other frustrated liberals by helping them move to Canada too.

Israel attacks Syrian Airbase

On the outset, the title that the MSM is promoting seems like this is an attack on Syria. It's not, this attack was on a cache of sophisticated Iranian missiles headed to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

This is the second such attack in the past week. Remember this?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a comment in April  and confirmed that Israel had carried out dozens of strikes against Hezbollah to prevent the group from obtaining advanced weapons — a rare Israeli admission.

Ok so what's the big deal right? I mean these evil Israelis just don't give up do they? Here's a map from the IDF. Maybe this will shed some light on what Israel is facing.

Psalm 83 gives a warning on this, and it was written over 3,000 years ago. I find it so amazing that God would give us, in this time a picture of what HE already knows.

A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.

Do not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God!
² For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
³ They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
⁴ They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

The writer then proceeds to list the groups and nations against Israel, they all touch the border of Israel. The interesting thing is that in Ezekiel 38, the soon war of Gog attacking Israel, those nations and groups in Psalm 83 are not found. 

There are scholars who say that there are TWO wars, one of Psalm 83 and the groups of Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinians, Lebanese etc...and  a separate war of Gog against Israel with Iran, Turkey, Syria etc.

What we do know is this: 'The time of Jacobs trouble' is at the door.

We need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel, we also need to pray for President Elect Trump and Vice President Elect Pence.

We also need to thank God for the gift of having a clear mind and heart.

A Grand Deception

Today is my son Jack and his older sister Jaden's birthday. They are exactly 20 years apart. Yes, I like to live dangerously. This does make the process of figuring out how old they are pretty easy. If Jack is 11, which he is today, then Jaden is 31. Easy peasy. 

In writing today's blog, My thoughts keep returning to our country. I often wonder if the world I am leaving to my kids is better than the one I came from. I think that's every parents hope that we leave things better for our children.

One thing I try to pay forward is my faith in God thru Jesus Christ. In reading our Lords story, one set of passages keep running through my mind.

That's by design.

We see that towards the end of Jesus's life and ministry, He and His disciples are in Jerusalem. Keep in mind, the disciples were just simple guys who fished and worked with their hands in their previous life. In Jerusalem with it's magnificent buildings, you can imagine the awe. No different than your first time in New York City.

Matthew Chapter 24: 1-4

24 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. ² And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

³ Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
⁴ And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

This is the start of His detailed series on the end time. Notice what His first statement was. Jesus didn't answer the disciples with a date or even a identifying event, which He certainly could have.

Jesus said; "Take heed that no one deceives you." In other words, theres going to be organized deception, and if you are not careful, you will be deceived...lied to, mislead...you get the idea.

I was drawn to a You Tube video yesterday. This video was of a Congressional Hearing between Secretary of Defense Ash Carter and head of the Joint Chiefs General Dunford. The subject was a No Fly Zone over Syria. 

Just so that you know, a No Fly Zone is exactly that. One where the United States establishes an area where anything that flies becomes targeted. We have had them over all of our battlegrounds, and never were they contested. After all our Air Force is pretty awesome. 

However now, there's an 800lb gorilla in the corner...Russia.

Ok I know this is not bakery fresh news, but it's important...very important. So please stay with me.

Lets step back a moment. Syria is embroiled in a civil war. The US has its own intention for this war. They want Assad out, and are willing to back whomever to get this done. Evidently we don't care who it is just 'Get 'er done...'

So who could be use to get Assad out of power? Who would be willing to risk life and capitol? This is the thing that the international gloabalists play with constantly. Any guesses? How about ISIS?

That's right. Those murderous thugs that are financially backed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Have you forgot the "mistakes" made by the US military in dropping weaponry to the wrong guys?

A quick search of where ISIS gets their weapons brings up a ton of links. Think Turkey, bought with monies from the Saudis and Qatari's.

Also, remember Benghazi? Yes, Benghazi. Hillary Clintons millstone. Interesting article from the Brits on the CIA gunrunning operation.

Now...enter President Elect Donald Trump...

President Trump declared over and over that we will attack ISIS. Its obvious that the Obama Administration is not making a real concerted effort to wipe these guys out. Could we wipe them out? Of course....but if we did that, that would go against our own policy and desires.

Its confusing, isn't it?

This Coming War...What Do We Know?

With all of the computer super powers we have I'm sure that they have calculated that we are going to war.

It's inevitable...it's going to happen.

We know who it is we are going to war with, and we know the likelihood of  where we are going to war, but we don't know when.

Look at this map. This is a very likely flash point.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Now, do you see that small spit of a place Kaliningrad?

 NATO, Latvia and Lithuania are also NATO, Kaliningrad is Russian.

NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, is comprised of 28 countries who have agreed to the charters terms and agree to aid one another in time of war. Basically it works like this; attack one of us and we ALL will attack you. This group is expanding and represents a counter to Russia's aggression., whether real or imagined. NATO has had new life breathed into it since the 2014 Russian invasion/annexation of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.

Back to K'grad,  (Im spelling it this way due to laziness in having to type it over and over) was recently in the news. Remember this?

This is the Iskander. A short range, maybe 300 miles, conventional and nuclear tipped weapon. This puts Berlin Germany, Poland and Sweden in it's sights. Russia has also set up their S400 anti-missile, anti aircraft defense system nearby. Remember the S400? that's the very same system Russia set up in Syria to protect their new airbase and warm water port.

This is the part of the world war that will probably go nuclear.

Now, lets look back at the war, yes I said war, in Syria.

Here is what God wants you to know;

1. Damascus Syria will be utterly destroyed, and overnight.

2. Russia will lead an attack on Israel, and will be backed by Iran, Turkey, Lybia, Sudan and quite possibly some of the European nations.

3. The US and Saudi Arabia will be on the sidelines, doing nothing.

4. Israel will not prevail against Russia.

5. God Himself will show up and destroy Russia's army and airforce.

6. All the world will know there is a God

Lets look at it.

#1 Damascus Syria. One of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. The prophet Isaiah prophesied in

Isaiah chapter17 vs 1

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap.

This has never happen in recorded history, we read in verse 12-14

Woe to the multitude of many people
Who make a noise like the roar of the seas,

And to the rushing of nations
That make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

¹³ The nations will rush like the rushing of many waters;
But God will rebuke them and they will flee far away,

And be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind,
Like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

¹⁴ Then behold, at eventide, trouble!
And before the morning, he is no more.
This is the portion of those who plunder us,
And the lot of those who rob us

What we read is that the world will be all astir at this conflict, the battle over Damascus and their million plus inhabitants, then in the course of one night...gone. Did Isaiah foresee nuclear war? How would a prophet 2800 years ago describe something like this?

What would be a cause for Damascus to get nuked? What if chemical weapons were being amassed and prepared for use against Israel?

Far fetched?

The Syrian government thinks nothing of using chemicals against its own people. Do you think they wouldn't hesitate to use this against Israel to retake the Golan Heights?

Israel's response would be swift and nuclear. That's stating the obvious. World opinion against Israel would be overwhelmingly bad. Thats also stating the obvious. You can just  imagine what the UN would be saying, and the possibility of Barak Obama having a UN leadership role looks probable right now. Obamas disdain for Israel is readily apparent.

Lets look at #2. the Russian led assault

Another of the major prophets Ezekiel was given a vision of the end times and specifically the rebirth of the nation Israel and this war.

In his excellent work Gog-Magog, Nathan Jones presents a thorough and thoughtful analysis of this extremely import section of the Bible. If you get the chance, please take some time and read this. Lets look at the chapter and work through the problems.

Ezekiel Chapter 38

Gog and Allies Attack Israel

38 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ² “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh,^[a] Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, ³ and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. ⁴ I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. ⁵ Persia, Ethiopia,^[b] and Libya^[c] are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; ⁶ Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.

⁷ “Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. ⁸ After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. ⁹ You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”
¹⁰ ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: ¹¹ You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’— ¹² to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. ¹³ Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’
¹⁴ “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? ¹⁵ Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. ¹⁶ You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” ¹⁷ Thus says the Lord God: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?

Judgment on Gog

¹⁸ “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. ¹⁹ For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, ²⁰ so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ ²¹ I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. ²² And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. ²³ Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’

Who is Gog?

I am going to paste Lamb and Lion Ministries analysis. Please keep in mind, this analysis draws the very same conclusions that Biblical scholars have drawn for many years. The strange thing is, Russia didn't even exist during Ezekiels day

The Nations
Ezekiel 38:1-6 gives the ancient names of the territories that comprise the invading nations in the Gog-Magog Battle: Rosh, Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Cush, Gomer and Beth-togarmah. If only Ezekiel had gone the extra mile and given the names of the invading nations contemporary to the battle, a lot of debate over their modern identities would have been saved. Never-the-less, God prefers students of Bible prophecy to do their historical research, and the following list of equivalent names is the fruit of that research.

1.     Magog = Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan (and possibly Afghanistan)

2.     Rosh = Russia

3.     Meshech + Tubal + Gomer + Beth-togarmah = Turkey (and possibly Azerbaijan, Armenia)

4.     Persia = Iran

5.     Ethiopia = Sudan

6.     Put = Libya (and possibly Algeria, Tunisia)

Noticeably absent from this list of Middle Eastern nations are those surrounding modern-day Israel, such as Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Gaza, the Arab nations and Iraq. Ezekiel 38:13 describes these nations as just observing, for many of them originate as “Sheba and Dedan [Arab nations] and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages.” Why these nations are not also actively involved in the Gog-Magog Battle is open to speculation, but a Psalm 83 scenario where Israel has subjugated their surrounding neighbors previous to the Gog-Magog invasion so that they are finally in the peaceful situation Ezekiel describes (Ezek. 38:11) is the most likely possibility.
One glaring similarity among all the Gog-Magog invaders put in a scenario today is that all but Russia claim their national religion to be Islam. Islamic religious fervor to destroy the Jewish people would unite the fractious Muslim nations into a coalition which has never existed in this form before. The obsessive drive for economic wealth would be the draw for Russia to join in and lead this doomed coalition.

I believe this to be the next installment on Gods plan for Israel and this world. In reading the Bible in its entirety, one gets a feeling for a big picture event.
Remember the old cowboy movies? The sweeping landscapes, the endless vistas, mesas, mountains and cumulous cloud filled skies? Then the story would drill down and unfold and get personal, very personal.
Keeping that analogy on mind, we have been on an almost 2,000 year intermission. Gods story has been getting personal with individuals for a long time.

 Its been fairly quiet on the earthly God front. Jesus has been building His church (translated from the Greek word Ekklisea) this literally means Called Out Ones and we have spread the Word across the globe like we were mandated to.

Now, its curtain time...and the show will go on.

The Soon Coming War.

Yup...The Mid East...again.

Have you ever wondered WHY Israel? Think about it for a moment. Here is this small country, the size of New Jersey, that every time a building gets built or they try to be as normal as any other nation, the world media goes apoplectic over it.

As comedian Jerry Seinfeld used to say "What's the deal?!!!"

If you pull up any of the "Israeli News sites" you will find story after story of Palestinians attacking civilians. Other state actors like Hezbolla up north in Lebanon, Hamas in the Gaza area, and a cauldron of others who continually spring up with the express purpose to attack Israel, and kill Jews.

So, lets set the record straight. I'm not Jewish. Im Scotch Irish and as Gentile as they come. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ, Yeshua...you get my point.

So this land, Israel was one of the most important in world history. A couple thousand years ago, the God of the universe, created a people for Himself. They are called the Jews, or Hebrews, however you want to call it, the fact remains. These people were given a land in perpetuity, this small land we call Israel. Ok, so the nation of Israel rejected God and God kicked them out, scattered them all over the world, and promised to forgive them and in the latter days bring them back.

That happened in 1948.

From 1948 onward, the land of Israel went from a dusty rock filled swampy desolate place, to now a vibrant farming area. With water being as scarce as it is in that area, Israel leads the world in drip irrigation technology. Israel also is a world leader in technology. You have to admit a certain jealousy over the success of this Jewish nation. I wish our nation were as focused and prosperous as Israel.

Their advances in technology became life saving when the Palestinanians fired more than 4,000 rockets at civilians during July and August of 2014.  Israels Iron Dome anti-missile system performed admirably, protecting the locals much to the Arabs dismay. 

So, with this Iron Dome system, increased food production, Jews moving in from all over the world, Israel should be sitting pretty and safe right? They wish, and Bible believing Christians also wish, but it is not so Im afraid.

The battle lines were drawn in the Garden of Eden. The chief architect of rebellion, Satan, has his sights on opposing God at every opportunity. The main focus of Satan's wrath is the Jew.

Let's use another analogy from the Seinfeld Show. One of the characters George Castanza, was having rotten luck with work and relationships. So he decided to "do the opposite", lo and behold...it worked!

Just do the opposite.

That's Satan's game plan in a nut shell.

God authors peace and truth. Satan spawns confusion, deception and lies.

God blesses marriage between man and woman. Do the opposite...same sex marriage.

Do you want to live a peaceful life and raise kids to follow the Lord? Make it exceedingly difficult. Use the media to promote everything against God at every opportunity. Promote the dark forces, make the good seem evil and the evil seem good. In other words, do the opposite.

Here's one that we can relate to; Celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (you know Christmas?)...Satans plan? Turn it into a massive commercialized month long spending spree, void of Christ, full of Santa.

And so on and so on...you get the picture.

So, here we are in the year 2016. Israel has been back in the land for almost 70 years. The heat is now turning up in the Middle East.

Syria is the new Iraq/Lybia/Afghanistan.

The estimates on Syrian loss of life is about a quarter of a million killed. This country is ruled by Bashar Al-Assad. His rule is characterized as brutally murderous. He doesn't care how many die, just as long as he is in power. 

So Assad asks for some help. The Iranians are more than glad to help, especially if it means killing Sunni's or gearing up to destroy Israel. Assad gives right of way to Iran when it comes to weapons storage and transit towards Lebanon, where the de facto anti Israel army Hezbolla is in control.

Israel is now covertly attacking weapons depots and weapons shipments in Syria.

Assad also asked Russia for help. This is the 800lb gorilla in the room. It looks like Russia has been given carte blanche to do whatever it takes to keep Assad in power. They have been given total access to the port in Latakia and free reign of airspace.

What do you think would be Putins motivation for helping Assad? After all there has to be SOMETHING, right?

A news article posted in April said that Putin said that he intends to give the Golan Heights back to Syria.

A few days later Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said The Golan will remain a part of Israel forever.  

Ok so other than the Golan being militarily very, very important to the national security of Israel, what else is there?

Oil...and lots of it.

Now we know what's at stake.

Next up we will look at what the Bible has to say about this very time...its important and most likely you will see it come to fruition...soon, very soon.
